Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms govern your use of TicketConnect. Please read section 5 before listing a ticket for resale and section 6 before buying one — those are the two places where what you can expect differs most from an ordinary online shop.
Draft — not reviewed by a lawyer, and not ready to publish. Section 5 in particular contains an unresolved legal question that has to be answered before this service operates commercially in Poland.
Consumer-facing terms should also be available in Polish. Terms a Polish consumer cannot readily understand risk being treated as not binding on them.
1. Who we are and what this is
TicketConnect is operated by [TO FILL IN: registered company name, address, KRS / NIP]. Contact: [TO FILL IN: support email].
The service does three separate things, and your rights differ across them:
2. Accounts and wallets
You need an account to buy, hold or sell tickets. Signing up creates or connects a blockchain wallet, which becomes the identifier for everything you hold.
You are responsible for keeping access to that wallet. If you control the private key and lose it, we cannot recover it, reissue your tickets or reverse a transfer — this is a property of the technology, not a policy choice. Section 7 sets out what that means.
You must be at least [TO FILL IN: age] and provide accurate information. One person, one account; do not share credentials.
3. Events listed from other platforms
Most of what you see in Discover is sold by someone else. For those events we show what the source platform publishes and link you to it. We are not a party to that sale, we do not hold the tickets, and your contract is with that platform and the organizer.
We work to keep prices and availability accurate — the price shown is the price the linked page quotes, including mandatory booking fees wherever the source discloses them — but listings change constantly and we cannot guarantee a third party’s page still says what it said when we last read it. Always confirm the final price at checkout.
Refunds, cancellations, entry disputes and everything else about such an event are handled by the platform that sold the ticket, not by us.
4. Buying tickets from us
A purchase is confirmed when payment succeeds and the ticket is issued to your wallet. Prices include VAT where applicable. Any service fee is shown before you pay.
If an event is cancelled or materially rescheduled, the organizer decides on refunds; we process them according to that decision and will tell you what it is.
5. Reselling a ticket
This section is unresolved and must be settled with counsel before launch.
Polish law — Article 133 of the Act on the Safety of Mass Events (ustawa o bezpieczeństwie imprez masowych) — makes it an offence to sell tickets to a mass event above the price printed on the ticket, or to sell them without authorisation, punishable by a fine of no less than PLN 5,000. The marketplace currently supports listing above face value, and enforces no cap.
Three things need deciding: whether a face-value cap applies to events covered by that Act; whether resale happens under agreements with organizers, which is the route that makes above-face-value resale lawful; and how the platform tells the two categories apart. Until then, these terms cannot honestly describe resale as unrestricted.
When you list a ticket, you confirm you hold it lawfully and are entitled to transfer it. You set the asking price, subject to any limit the platform applies. Our fee is [TO FILL IN: fee terms] and is shown before you confirm.
Organizers may restrict or prohibit resale in their own terms. Where they do, theirs prevail, and a ticket resold against them may be voided at the door — by the organizer, not by us.
6. Refunds and your consumer rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law.
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets. Article 38(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act excludes contracts for services connected with leisure events where the contract specifies a date or period of performance. This is the law, not our policy, and it applies to almost every ticket sold here. Refunds outside that are governed by section 4 and by the organizer’s terms.
Complaints go to [TO FILL IN: complaints email] and are answered within [TO FILL IN: statutory period — commonly 14 days]. If we cannot resolve it, you may use the European Commission’s ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or approach a municipal or district consumer ombudsman.
7. Blockchain risks you accept
Tickets are tokens on a public blockchain. Transfers are irreversible and final. Your wallet address and its full transaction history are public and permanent — see section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
Network congestion, outages or changes in transaction costs may delay a transfer. We do not control the underlying network and cannot reverse what it has recorded.
8. What you may not do
Do not use automated means to scrape or bulk-copy the service; interfere with it or attempt to bypass its security; list tickets you do not hold or are not entitled to transfer; impersonate anyone; or use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where a suspension affects tickets you hold, we will tell you why and how to respond.
9. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that third-party listings are accurate or current.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional fault, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law — including consumers’ statutory rights. Subject to that, [TO FILL IN: liability cap — needs counsel; unfair-terms rules constrain what is enforceable against consumers].
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Account holders will be told about material changes in advance and may close their account if they do not accept them. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
